APH Historical AMV: USA POV Revolution – I Have Questions

Why did you leave me here to burn? I’m way too young to be this hurt I feel doomed in hotel rooms Staring straight up at the wall Counting wounds and I am trying to numb them all Do you care, do you care? Why don’t you care? I gave you all of me My blood, my sweat, my heart, and my tears Why don’t you care, why don’t you care? I was there, I was there, when no one was Now you’re gone and I’m here I have questions for you Number one, tell me who you think you are You got some nerve trying to tear my faith apart (I have questions for you)
Number two, why would you try and play me for a fool? I should have never ever ever trusted you (I have questions)
Number three, why weren’t you, who you swore that you would be? I have questions, I got questions haunting me I have questions for you
I have questions for you (I have questions) I have questions for you My, my name was safest in your mouth And why’d you have to go and spit it out? Oh, your voice, it was the most familiar sound But it sounds so dangerous to me now I have questions for you
Number one, tell me who you think you are You got some nerve trying to tear my faith apart (I have questions for you)
Number two, why would you try and play me for a fool? I should have never ever ever trusted you
I have questions for you I have questions for you
I have questions for you (I have questions) I have questions for you Do you care, do you care? Why don’t you care? I gave you all of me My blood, my sweat, my heart, and my tears Why don’t you care, why don’t you care? I was there, I was there, when no one was Now you’re gone and I’m here I have questions for you, ooh
I have questions for you I have questions for you (I have questions) I have questions for you (yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
I have questions for you, ooh I have questions for you (foul play, no, foul play, no)
I have questions for you (I have questions) I have questions for you I have questions for you How do I fix it? Can we talk? Can we communicate?
Can we talk? Do I wanna fix it?
I have questions for you (I’m afraid of you) Is it my fault? Is it my fault? Do you miss me? I have questions

Many Hetalia fans watched the Revolution episodes and thought they portrayed America as a brat rebelling against his older brother due to teen hormones. Maybe it's my bias, but I didn't interpret the episodes that way. Yes, they portrayed England in a sympathetic light, but anyone who knows history would know that England pushed America to fight for independence with all those taxes and salutary neglect. For the Americans who argued for independence, they felt England had betrayed their trust first…

Besides, I don't really see how America was in any way immature at all. The way he says "You used to be so…great." is so full of pain and hurt, too.

  2. I love the fact you put pictures of America in Native American clothes it warms my heart that people still know we Native Americans exist

  3. I just love America, not only because I live in it, but I simply love his character. He's so relatable in odd ways you wouldn't think. For one he's like the person you want to be; the one to light a room, the one to blatantly ignore people's insults because he knows he will not fall to them. And then you see tiny glimpses of normal day insecurities we all have and have to deal with. I really love this video and I thank you for making this, it made my day!

  4. I’ve gone through a few of your videos and I loved them all you just earned yourself a subscriber I really like your channel and you are so great at making videos keep it up!

  5. Dangggg, the flashback. Believe me I found fanfiction that suit with this amv so well. It reminds me of that story, relationship between England and USA as father and kid
