Last Christmas – Vintage Andrews Sisters – Style Wham! Cover – Postmodern Jukebox

Last Christmas, I gave you my heart But the very next day you gave it away This year, to save me from tears I’ll give it to someone special Once bitten and twice shy I keep my distance But you still catch my eye Tell me baby Do you recognize me? Well, it’s been a year That doesn’t surprise me Happy Christmas! I wrapped it up and sent it With a note that said I loved you, You know that I meant it Now I see, what a fool I’ve been But if you kiss me once you fool me again Last Christmas, I gave you my heart But the very next day you gave it away This year, to save me from tears I’ll give it to someone special A crowded room, friends with tired eyes I’m hiding from you, and your soul of lies My God, I thought you were someone to rely on Me? I guess I was a shoulder to cry on Face of a lover with a fire in his heart A man under cover but you tore me apart Fool me once I swear you’ll never fool me again Last Christmas, I gave you my heart But the very next day you gave it away This year, to save me from tears I’ll give it to someone… Last Christmas, I gave you my heart But the very next day you gave it away This year, to save me from tears I’ll give it to someone special this Christmas ooh, this Christmas this Christmas ooh, this Christmas this Christmas ooh, this Christmas I’ll give it to someone special

  1. I've only recently discovered PMJ through their cover of The Cardigan's Lovefool that featured on a recent tv advert, sung by Haley Reinhart. I am soooo glad I did 🙂

  2. I keep clicking on these videos to see if there is one that is listenable. Can we finally put this concept to bed? There is nothing unique about these videos anymore.

  3. PMJ cover perfect like ever. ariana purefect like ever, christina…. amazing like ever… you made my day TKS a lot !!

  4. I hate this song…
    …The original that is.
But once the tap jumped in, this version went from good to thumbs up +added to fav Christmas list.
Thank you all at PMJ for making a song I wouldn't normally listen to even if paid, and making it good.

  5. This may sound politically incorrect, but blow me…
I love this version so much better! I like the oldies feel rather than the gay sounding Wham version.

  6. Thats genial! I love the Andrews sisters and you brought them back to me. Thanks!! Plus good old tap dance, I feel young again😘

  7. A very Classy arrangement that excels the original. What's not to like with this very professional group of musicians, a excellent, vibrant Tap Dancer and three very talented and also beautiful young Ladies. JACKPOT!!!

  8. You guys are funny, but awesome vocals. Have to say it again bad ass singing harmonies and a kick ass tap dancing.

  9. I’ve listened to al three ladies on their own and like them all but I really have to say Sara’s part no wait Ariana..no no Christina’s part was the best…ah hell Great job girls. Loved this cover!

  10. The manic energy of the last verse with the tap dancer going all out was really impressive, brought a smile to my face !

  11. Sweet Harmony Ladies!!! But they need to drop that mic down 2 inches because you can't see the shorter gal! That shouldn't affect the sound!?! She might appreciate it a little too! Winks! But these gals can really belt one out and keep it sounding sweet!

  12. Praise Scott Bradee to bring this kind of entertainment at this time in US. Something warm, innocent, Charming. Thanks.

  13. Putting Ms Gattis behind the mike was not a good idea… one side or the other would have worked, but behind not so much…

  14. it's 6th of September but i am watching this video and can't stop laughing. Fool me once and i swear you'll never fool me again! :DDDD
