My Jewelry Collection: 5 Favorites of Each!

Hello everybody! How are you all today? Excited to be here? Cause I am! I thought that since my last video was
more of a chatty one, that for today we’d do a more visual video. And I wanted
to share with you all my jewelry collection! And you will see that the
items that I’m going to show you fall more into the costume jewelry category-
so don’t expect to be seeing any, I don’t know, family heirlooms, or antique
jewelry, or anything super expensive or with really fine materials. Because what
I’m going to focus on today is more of the fun, colorful, big and blingy baubles-
you know, the ones that really bring a lot of spice, and a lot of life and
sparkle to your outfits. And you’ll see that a lot of them are from large
retailers, part of them are vintage, and a good part of them are no name- or at
least I can’t remember where I bought them from anymore, because a good part of my
jewelry collection is really old, like I’ve had these pieces for years and
years. And to follow the theme of my channel, which is five items or five topics per
video, I’m going to show you my five favorites per category. So you’re going to be seeing necklaces, earrings, rings, bracelets and
brooches today. And to get you started, I’m also going to show you the way that
I store my jewelry, because I know that is a lot of times a subject of interest. As you can see, my current favorite jewelry storage method is arranging them
into boards let’s say- like you’d have on Pinterest. So maybe you have a board for festival jewelry, or maybe you have one for feminine, small and dainty pieces, or
perhaps one for big, colorful items for summer. And it’s kind of like building a
whole look from head to toe- so necklaces, earrings, hair pieces, bracelets all
together, to form one cohesive look. And this way you have a very pretty
arrangement, which you can of course switch out as you like, as often as you
like, but which keeps you from throwing all your pieces in the jewelry box at
random and having them get knotted together. And as you can see, I place them together in the drawers of my jewelry box- which is nothing fancy,
just your average box, but with quite large drawers. Or I display them on a
pretty serving plate; with my trusty French Bulldog guarding the jewelry.
One thing to consider though is that this method is not space effective at all- so
it works great as a visual aid, but you do need quite a lot of space to have
them all displayed like this. Or perhaps it encourages you to curate your
accessories more often and only keep the major pieces. Anyway, I’m curious
to hear how you guys store your jewelry as well, so please let me know in the
Comments section. So everybody, this was my video for
today. I really hope that you enjoyed it, and I hope that you liked
learning a little bit more about the accessories and baubles that I choose
for myself. And hopefully I also got you guys inspired to buy some new jewelry, or
at least to go through your existing one and select everything that you like, that
you want to keep, and get rid of the rest- so you can make room for potential new
ones. And as always, thank you very much for being with me here today, thank you
for watching the video- don’t forget to give it a thumbs up if you enjoyed it,
don’t forget to share it of course, and don’t forget to comment in the comment section
below what your favorite type of jewelry is, what you wear more often, and which
pieces in your “jewelry wardrobe” have a special meaning for you. Now until next
Saturday have a fabulous week ahead and I will see you here in one week! Bye,
everybody!
